While costs can vary, we’re committed to making quality care affordable for families. That’s why we offer reasonable pricing and flexible payment plans to suit a range of budgets.
The easiest way to find out what your treatment might cost is to book a consultation with our Treatment Coordinator or Orthodontist.
Your first visit is a one-hour appointment where we take a close look at your orthodontic needs. This includes taking photos, x-rays, digital scans and a gentle examination, so we can put together a clear plan of what will give you a beautifully healthy smile.
The fee for a consultation with one of our orthodontists is $195, and depending on your level of private health cover, you may be able to get a partial refund on the spot using our HICAPS machine.
Once your treatment plan is ready, we’ll walk you through the costs and expected treatment lengths. We offer payment options so you can choose what works best
When fitting braces or clear aligners, you have the option of paying the full amount upfront to receive a 5% discount. Please note this is not available with early orthodontic treatments for young children.
Make the upfront deposit, then spread the remaining cost over 12, 18 or 24 months with interest-free instalments, depending on how long your treatment is expected to take.
Most Australian health funds include orthodontics under extras or general dental cover.
Check your level of cover with your private health insurer, along with any waiting periods and limits on how much you can claim. We don’t have a preferred health fund or direct health insurance partnerships.
Yes! With our HICAPS machine, we can process your claim in the clinic.
If it goes through, you’ll only need to pay the gap fee.
How do I claim orthodontic treatments via private health insurance?
If your private health fund covers orthodontics, we can lodge the claim electronically through HICAPS. Alternatively, we can give you a detailed receipt with item numbers so you can claim directly without any worries.
Medicare doesn’t usually cover orthodontics. However, some x-rays are covered with a full or partial rebate, which we can claim for you in the clinic.
Yes! We offer a 5% family discount when more than one family member starts full comprehensive treatment with us. It’s our way of supporting families by making orthodontic care a little more affordable. If you think another child or parent in your household may need treatment, we’ll gladly walk you through how the discount works and what it could mean for your overall costs. Family discounts don’t apply to early orthodontic treatment plans. For example – if 2 children from the same family have an initial consultation and one needs full braces or clear aligners (comprehensive) treatment, and the other child is not quite ready and only needs some early treatment, no discount applies. If BOTH children were ready for full treatment (braces or clear aligners) then ONE of them will be eligible for the 5% discount
In most cases, no. Braces, aligners or expanders are considered standard dental care and are usually excluded. In rare situations where treatment is essential for things like feeding or speech, NDIS may consider support. But this is the exception rather than the rule.
