In orthodontics, there is no ‘best’ form of treatment. All of the appliances such as braces and clear aligners that we use each have their own unique benefits, and provide exceptional treatment results.
In most cases, Dr Sudjalim will ask if you have a preference of treatment, such as braces, aligners or lingual braces. However, if she feels that you may not be a candidate for your chosen appliance, or that your case is too complex for the chosen appliance, she will let you know her recommendation.
Yes, you can still play sports while in treatment. However, if you play contact sport it is important that you wear a mouth guard to ensure you don’t damage your teeth, or your appliance.
