We’ve been looking after Berwick families since 2006, providing specialist orthodontic care.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for almost 10,000 patients. Throughout that time, we’ve welcomed nervous children to their first orthodontic assessment, guided teenagers through treatment, and celebrated with adults as they achieved the smile they’ve always wanted. We’ve treated siblings, parents and, in some cases, the children of former patients who have returned to us years later with a family of their own.
These long-standing relationships are something we’re incredibly proud of. At Berwick Orthodontic Specialists, we’re more than a clinic — we’re part of the community, and we believe every patient should feel valued and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.

Her academic achievements include receiving the Dean’s Medal for Orthodontics for the College of Edinburgh exams and the Kenneth J.G. Sutherland Prize for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons for graduating at the top of her field.
Dr Theresia is a respected educator and speaker who regularly presents at conferences and lectures dentists and orthodontists. She also serves as a spokesperson for the Australian Society of Orthodontists.
Outside the clinic, she’s a wife, mum and devoted dog owner. Believe it or not, her beloved dog Bentley has an underbite!
Andrea has been practising specialist orthodontics for over 30 years. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Western Australia in 1991 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1994. In 2005, she completed her specialist orthodontic training at UWA, receiving the Postgraduate Clinical Award for Excellence.
Following her specialist qualification, Andrea taught orthodontics at the University of Western Australia while continuing to practise in private specialist orthodontic clinics before joining the Berwick Orthodontic Specialists team.
Patients appreciate Andrea’s calm, reassuring nature and wealth of experience. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exploring the art, food and lifestyle of the Mornington Peninsula.
As Practice Manager, Michaela keeps the clinic running seamlessly behind the scenes. Having worked in multiple roles within the practice, she understands every aspect of the patient journey and is always happy to help with any questions about appointments, accounts or administration.
Gai is one of the first people you’ll meet when considering treatment. She takes the time to explain your options, answer questions and guide you through costs and payment plans in a clear, supportive way. Her experience and genuine care help families feel informed and confident as they begin their orthodontic journey.

Gabrielle has been with us for over a decade and is the friendly face of our front desk. She helps keep the clinic running smoothly and is always happy to assist with appointments, accounts, and any questions you may have.
John is one of a handful of Oral Health Therapists who will assist you throughout your orthodontic treatment. Our Oral Health Therapists keep your teeth and gums healthy while you’re in treatment. They provide personalised oral hygiene advice, answer any questions you have, and support you in caring for your smile every step of the way.
Behind every successful treatment is a dedicated clinical team. Our oral health therapists, and dental assistants work closely with our specialists to provide exceptional care and support throughout every stage of treatment.
Our reception team are the friendly faces who welcome you into the clinic and help ensure every visit runs smoothly. Their warmth, organisation and attention to detail help create a positive experience from start to finish.
